Liu Jo devotes a magic potion to the feminine figure for the SS12 Pre Collection, whose ingredients – elegance, femininity and harmony – produce a charming and sophisticatedly comfortable style. Our journey can only begin from the versatility of items enhancing perfect silhouettes both during the day and during the night thanks to slim and swift lines developed on elegant but comfortable materials. When Spring approaches, dynamic and shiny patterns will be budding of two-colour dots and little hearts; the focus on details is a must, from ever-present rhinestone charms to maxi flower- and heart-shaped brooches, necklaces and beads or strings decorating all items, as well as sophisticated laces with inserts. The colour palette is also important: it combines bright vibrant shades such as lacquer and cupcake or new neutral tones such as scorched earth and Bailies suitable for an elegant and harmonious look both in the single- and double-colour versions; more delicate nuances are dominated by anthracite, ash, rope, potion and mist tones. Jackets will be renewed in terms of length and their shorter versions with lapels will become a must, whereas the leather version was designed in soft lasered tassel. Another must in every wardrobe is the trench coat, which in the coming season may become a dress by removing its sleeves.
