ABOUT
There are two inspiration themes for this spring/summer collection: POETIC ASYMMETRYInspiration springs from the intention of re-visiting lines and volumes: everything becomes smoother, allowing extreme femininity to surface. Asymmetry, fleeting volumes, asymmetrical cuts and draping are the leitmotiv to the theme: every item becomes extremely contemporary, hence suitable for versatile, light and ethereal women. The fabric mix and the combination of matt and glossy finishes give a very personal touch to the items. The colour palette resonates with neutral and sophisticated shades - White Cotton, Rainy Day, Ciottolo and Cinder, Baby and Dark Grey Green – played down with determined overtones such as Eclipse, Sky Blue and Lemon Peel.Fabric research takes more and more importance by the season; this particular theme features chamois - laser-finished of matched to georgette- old-finish stretch viscose, double linen layer, technical stretch cotton, light and impalpable cupro, bi-stretch fluid, light polysatin, crepe silk and light georgette, inlaid lace chiffon, printed silk and cotton muslin. With regard to jersey, the offer ranges from a cotton and crepe de chine mix to crepe viscose, from viscose ribs to laminated lace, all the way to stretch viscose matched to fabrics such as polysatin and plissé finish. Stretch cotton and viscose for t-shirts are also well represented, while knitwear is mostly developed in summery yarns such as crepe cotton, viscose, linen and linen bands. The true must-have for the theme is the chamois sleeve item that turns into a different alternative to jacket and jerseys to match with the dresses. The chemise-jacket is available as the new summer sleeve item and may be worn also on the bare skin, while the feminine leather jacket was refreshed with a laser finish. Once again, the collection features de-constructed and loose jackets made with smooth material and stretch fabrics or structured stretch items made with technical cotton and stretch cotton. The loose and baggy trousers perfectly combine with tighter fits and the iconic summer shorts, while among the skirts the eternal and unmistakeable longuette/pencil skirt stands out. Again, asymmetric volumes and cuts give a feminine and modern look to the dresses, while the tracksuits, developed in garment dyed silk, bistretch and light crepe were refreshed both in terms of details and fits. The t-shirts, both solid and printed, were developed in new volumes, with asymmetric solutions and fabric combinations; they are also made precious with brooches and necklaces. Finally, knitwear was mostly played on light and summery yarns, such as crepe cotton and linen.RAW ALLUREThe return to spontaneity and nature are interpreted in this theme by a fluctuating-volume silhouette that draws flirtatious and elegant femininity, research and develops “non artificial” materials: the natural elements, such as linen, cotton muslin, lint, cotton macramé appliqués, trims and cannetté hems are treated with a sheer feminine allure; once combined, they account for a fresh and romantic range. The dresses and skirts are longer, meant for women who give up their high-heels in favour ultra-flat sandals, want to feel free by matching flowery and animal prints with macramé finishes that seem right out of grandmother’s chest. The iconic element to the collection is the dragonfly: developed as appliqué, brooch, detail or print, it turns into a creative, spontaneous and natural mark of femininity. The colours, too, are one with nature: the shades range from Ciottolo, Malto and Drab Grey and blend with traditionally summery overtones, including Muted Clay, Ruggine Light, Suede and Light Suede or Green Tint, Dark Grey Green and Rouge. The fabrics of choice are light and fresh: cotton and silk muslin, cotton and silk sablé, stretch cotton poplin, stretch linen matched with polysatin and light crepe, cotton muslin embroidered and inlaid with tulle, plissé cotton and all-over printed muslin. Jersey is also available in special versions: stretch viscose matched with polysatin or light polycrepe, very light cotton lint matched with lace, lame jersey, both glittery and printed all-over printed. Stretch cotton and viscose for the printed t-shirts could not be missing. Knitwear is developed in linen, the epitome of summer fibres, corded or thin and made precious with special stitches, trims, lace and viscose lurex. The long skirt, developed in cotton muslin or a mix of materials, is a pivotal element to the look, while the trouser, made with rustic and summery fabric, such as linen, is wide and tight. The dresses, too, light and impalpable in the cotton muslin or printed silk versions, are long and crispy or enriched with Sangallo lace details. The stretch cotton and viscose or cotton lint t-shirts also feature new fits. The light knitwear, special and punch-stamped, targets new volumes and fineness. The lurex range, a true distinctive sing, is available in the most natural of all fabrics: cotton and linen.
