The themes for the season are three and stand as style universes that conjure up different reference worlds and suggestion:DELICACYFeminine, young and fresh, the target women of the first theme are partial to micro animal prints of stretch chermeuse in natural shades, with contrasting hems and ribbons, or very small polka dot patters available in two colours, delicacy and brush, with logoed band and contrasting frills, a watercolour-effect ocelot print on a stretch charmeuse and, finally, two-colour Sangallo lace in the delicacy and lipstick overtones. The available models are: push-up, padded band, triangle with underwire (new shape), graded padded band (new shape), balconette, culottes, underpants, Brazilian, thong, top, shorts and petticoat. LOVELYThe unfading all over logo patterns on cotton jersey combined to light lace are the key features to this second theme. The resulting image is daily, fresh and dreaming, while the material of choice is comfortable and stretch. Little buttons, ribbons, hearts and lips alternate playfully on the shades of white, ivory, mystic rose, delicacy, Amazon and black, with the addition of a touch of coral. The available models are: graded padded triangle for a very evident cleavage (new model), push-up, balconette, internal underwire band, underpants, culottes, Brazilian, t-shirt, maxi t-shirt, shorts, petticoat, top, and comfort trousers.ROMANCEExtreme femininity and sophisticated finishes: jersey combines with satin for a delicate and essential style, though enriched with precious touches of light. Tops, petticoats, shorts and dressing gowns in the shades of delicacy, Amazon, muted clay and black, broaden the range of padded triangle (new shape), triangle with underwire, push-up, balconette, padded band, Brazilian, underpants, culottes, high-waist fashion culottes, thong, for a high seduction rate theme.Moreover, this season, too, features a comfortable and romantic homewear range made with knitted cotton and enriched with lace inserts, rhinestone logos and ton-sur-ton satin bands. Finally, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Liu Jo designed a playful pouch-cube, a coordinated chest with precious striped and polka dots containing a push up and a Brazilian (or culottes).BEACHWEARThe summer 2011 beachwear collection, too, is divided into three major themes, enriched with a very comprehensive range of beach accessories:PARADIS BLEUThe handmade embroideries and the colours, together with precious finishes, are the distinctive traits of this theme, that winks at ethnic and exotic style. A corner of paradise to be experienced by taking inspiration from the sandy shades of pristine beaches and mixing them with light effects created by a shower of sequins and beads in the most fanciful colours: the result is a colour palette made up with coral blue, teal, multicolor and black. The beachwear range for this theme comprises of bikinis and one-piece suits: push-ups, padded and non-padded triangles, bands, culottes, underpants, Brazilian with ribbons, where polka dots are matched with beads, micro-spots and rhinestone, and the classic logoed all-over turns into a supple wavy effect, while very small ruches and hand-embroidered gloss add to the full, solid colours.Besides the beach range, there are many other accessories to complete the look: straw bags, cord and fancy fabric wedges, beach towels and robes.ELEGANCEFor a long summer day that opens under the beach parasol and unwinds into an impeccable happy hour, Liu Jo offers a sophisticated and seductive look, made up with determined and refined patterns. The boundaries between outerwear and apparel becomes almost invisible, blurred in its elegance and the prints that stand out in this theme: a light ocelot in the shades of moor black, gloxinia, white and canvas is available for the most important swimsuits that stand out through a wooden finish with set or a shower of rhinestone, as well as on beach outfits, transparent bags and flip-flops. In addition, the spots are larger, fade into shades of teal, deep sea, gloxinia, timber wolf and moor black, and are applied to one-piece suits, push-ups, padded triangle, band, culottes, Brazilian, laced and non-laced underpants and, for outerwear, maxi t-shirts, mini-dresses, micro tracksuits, kaftans, that are enriched with the application of stones, studs and rhinestone. An even more exotic touch is given by the reptile photographic print on microfiber used for push-up suits, bands, padded triangle, balconette (first time for beachwear), culottes, underpants, underpants with ribbons, featuring golden nickel and rhinestone details and a reptile-leather looking silk screen print enriched with hand-made embroideries matched to Amazon green solid overtone. The sangallo lace is also available in a determined shade of gloxinia, embellished with gloss and stones for sophisticated and seductive swimsuits and beach outfits.GLAMThe last theme has a young, fun and sparkling allure. One-piece suit, band padded and non padded-triangle, push-up, underpants with laces, culottes, Brazilian, beach bags, towels, maxi-beachrobes and flip-flops feature a mix of all-over logos in ironic black and white, freely mixing block capitals, italics and polka dots. Again, triangles, bands, push-ups, culottes, underpants and Brazilians feature ribbons and sport black striped and silver lurex with handmade embroideries, to match with playful printed t-shirts. The determined embroidered and soldered metal details match with tarmac-coloured glossy microfiber on costumes and jersey beach outfits, while the classic polish black is enriched with a set of silver knots and pendants.
